Horská ubytovňa Hrebienok - Smokovce

The Hrebienok Mountain Lodge is located on the southeastern slope of Slavkovský štít in the picturesque High Tatras. You can go hiking in the areayear round. It offers tourist accommodation in simple rooms and apartments with views of the surrounding nature and the peaks of the High Tatras. Starý Smokovec, the oldest settlement in the Tatra Mountains, is a 5-minute cable car ride away, and guests receive a free cable car ticket between Starý Smokovec and Hrebienok, valid for the entire stay. Guests receive tickets for the cable cars in the High and Low Tatras, as well as for the Tatralandia and Bešeňová water parks, included in the price.

Parking is not available on site, as the property is located in a protected area. Paid public parking is possible in Starý Smokovec at the nearby cable car, and parking in a public garage is also available for a surcharge.

All rooms are simply furnished and have a private bathroom with a shower. Some 3 and 4-bed rooms can accommodate a baby cot.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.

Please note that the property can only be reached by cable car or on foot (60 min. walk).

The guest will be sent complete instructions for the stay within 24 hours before the check in, which include QR codes serving as tickets for transportation by cable car on the route Starý Smokovec - Hrebienok and back for each day of the stay.

The car can be parked for a fee in municipal parking lots in Starý Smokovec.

Outside the operating hours of the cable car, you can use the paid individual transport service, please note that this service must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
